Watch closely...
Render unto Little Caesar what is Little Caesars?

What people don't realize is the Robot is hiding behind the car and kills this guy after he stopped recording. So it's not all bad.
That's great for extreme germophobes. I can overcooked my own pizza. But let me know if they have a machine that makes poorly dubbed Italian models.
@Ford_Thundercougarfalconbird You know I saw a program that showed how they make those. I think the show was How's that Made but don't quote me.
@Someguy @Ford_Thundercougarfalconbird and yet there is no "Why is it made?" show
How is this a robot? It looks like it's just a motorized sign twirling thing with a mannequin mounted behind it.
@James.k.PolkLet me introduce you to my pals Merriam and Webster:
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/robot
Definition of ROBOT:@Ford_Thundercougarfalconbird @James.k.Polk nothing about this matches that definition. It is a motorized sign. I stand by my statement. By this definition, my car counts as a robot. @Ford_Thundercougarfalconbird @James.k.Polk
@Gallen_Dugall DOH! Weeelllllll .... we also can't see inside it so we don't know if it's mechanical or run by tiny hamsters in little wheels. HA HA! Take that my arch nemisis Professor Moriarty .... EEHH ... Gallen_Dugall!
@Someguy @Ford_Thundercougarfalconbird @James.k.Polk just because we only see it performing this simple operation doesn't mean that this is the limit of its capability
@Ford_Thundercougarfalconbird @James.k.Polk In fairness. In back is a Manikin and not part of the device so it fails the first part of the definition.
The device does not preform complicated tasks but a simple track movement so it fails the second part of the definition.
Their are no complicated controls so it fails the third part of the definition. (PLC, or microprocessor control as example)
But lets not forget the real failure here. That of the person who made a machine to wave a FREAKING sign! They could have bought a pack of LED's a made a simple sign for what they paid for the manikin! Never-the-less how much power it takes to run a motor like that!
@James.k.Polk So you grasp of the English language is somehow superior to the dictionary?
Just because you don't want to accept the truth, doesn't mean it isn't true.
@James.k.Polk Well, of course that's what it wants you to think. Then you blink, & when your eyes open again, you find that the face in front of you now sports what appears to be a bloody pair of your lips...
@SlyDante777 @James.k.Polk I think you are thinking of the Weeping Angels...
Makes sense if you have the money upfront to buy a rig like that.
And I’m not that concerned about the robots.
Between the zombies, the hyper-intelligent apes, and the aliens, humanity just needs to keep its collective head down, wait it all out in our vaults and when the last standing members of that four-way melee is gazing over the corpses of their robo/zombie/alien/ape enemies, then humanity strikes, kills our weakened enemies.
@TheConjurerOfCheapTricks @fishercl64 so which vault would you want to be assigned to?
@SlyDante777 there's always vault 77 if you like your own company or 68 or 69
I'm going with Vault 0 - brain in a jar, that's the life for me
@fishercl64 @Gallen_Dugall @TheConjurerOfCheapTricks I'm going with Vault 21 as well. All differences & fights are settled with games of chance? Well, allow my 10-value Luck statistic to step up to the plate!
The only danger is in a Howard Hughes-esque psycho winning the whole vault from some other schmoe & converting it into a hotel. Still, employment opportunites now abound...
@TheConjurerOfCheapTricks @Gallen_Dugall @fishercl64 Well, except for the overseer taking the form a psychotic eight-year old girl permanently trapping you in a Stepford version of the '50s while killing you over & over & over again for his own amusement.
Pleasant dreams!
@Gallen_Dugall @TheConjurerOfCheapTricks @fishercl64 Vault 21. You're in Vegas, well... under Vegas. And everything is centered around gambling. Throw in enough alcohol to last 80 years and I think we're good.
@Gallen_Dugall @TheConjurerOfCheapTricks @fishercl64 Vault 112. Everybody else is strapped in their virtual reality simulators, so I practically have the whole place to myself. No super mutants wanting to bash your brains in or Overseers bossing you around here.
@BowtiesAreCool Funny how we're not that distant from the election but it took me till now to remember what "the 47%" is/was.
I am fine if they kill us if they at least feed us delicious pizza first.

That's not delicious pizza. That's "I'm too broke to afford anything better" pizza.
@RyleKeese Oh its fine. Don't be a food snob. It's not like its a Jack's pizza for crying out load.
@ChetBoyardi Eh. One brand guaranteed to make me sick as a dog every time I eat it so I have to disagree.
Chuckle away and mock your own future, video taker. As that metal foot of a T-800 crushes your skull, you'll be in hell, and will be sobbing "If only I'd taken the robot threat seriously!"
People need to pick. Either glut the workforce with cheap foreign labor or build robots - not both
@Gallen_Dugall Up here in Canada the Little Caesar's hires homeless guys to hold the signs. Not sure what they get paid but it probably involves some food exchange.
@Canadian.Scott @Gallen_Dugall When I worked there for a bit in university, I also did the sign stuff every so often in the summer, if it was a slower afternoon.
It's boring work, but if you have stuff to listen to it's not quite as bad. The main pain is that you've got to hold up a sign for at least an hour at a time.
@rabidronnie @GeneralTekno @Canadian.Scott @Gallen_Dugall Yikes. I had some good store managers when I was working there - they all eventually moved on to do better things, naturally, and I don't blame them considering they easily had the worst job. The mindless rote work is easy, but being caught between customer complaints and upper management for what they make isn't worth it. (Not that we got many complaints really, but people can only go so fast. That job made me FAR more forgiving of service industry staff.)
Case in point though, I suppose, the store veterans only went up to shift manager rankwise, or they were in upper management (not customerfacing). And the ones who were there for awhile tended to either be in school or were working more than one job.
@GeneralTekno @Canadian.Scott @Gallen_Dugall My friend worked for them one summer, until they terminated his employment without notice while he was away on a youth trip because they got it into their heads that he had permanently moved away instead of gone to Missouri for a week.
NOt surprisingly, the turnover rate at that store was astronomically high.
@Canadian.Scott @Gallen_Dugall usually the use of robots creates better paying technical support jobs so I'm kind of biased towards robots. At some point we need a serious societal discussion about population and employment... before we get to China's level of crap
@Gallen_Dugall @TheConjurerOfCheapTricks Robots wouldn't make a huge difference. Everything's really easy to make as is there - if you have competent people working there (as did the store I worked at years ago) stuff gets done pretty efficiently.
The pizza sauce was "tomato sauce, water, and bags of premixed spices", and the dough was pretty simple to make as well. If there was anything they gave us a hard time about though, it was the cheese, which is one of the most expensive things that goes on the pizza.
If you have trained people, everything goes like clockwork during a dinner rush - it's pretty impressive how fast you can go with practice. You just do everything assembly line style, and stuff gets done. There's not a lot of skill involved, but practice makes you faster at said skills.
@TheConjurerOfCheapTricksLargely pizza quality is a factor of 1st ingredients and 2nd cooking ability. I assume that most of the cooking is done according to a strict and easy to follow recipe. Ingredients are usually the main factor in any food quality issue, however they are also usually the main factor in costs.
@Gallen_Dugall @Canadian.Scott If robots were put to work making Little Caesars' pizzas instead of hiring human labor, would there be an increase in quality?
