It’s unlikely the entire original movie cast – which also included the likes of Rainn Wilson and Justin Long in very early roles – could be reassembled, but has enough time passed to do a “Next Generation”? Because it seems to me that would be the best way to move the whole Star Trek spoof angle forward. And after all, you can only go forward when the motto is “Never retreat.” never give up, never surrender.
