Geek Apparel of the Week: Battle Damaged
Posted at 2:12 PM Jan 08, 2009
You're looking at the t-shirt incarnation of my two favorite childhood toys. I'm looking at my empty wallet and crying. He-Man.org has these two shirts--plus "non-damaged" versions, plus awesome shirts referencing everything MotU from Ninjor's dragon crest to the glow-in-the-dark ring Mattel used to pack in with every figure. At $27 each, they are a bit pricey, but the sales help He-Man.org run, which I'm totally fine with. Check out their full selection here, and tell 'em Topless Robot sent you (because if you guys buy enough, maybe they'll send me one. XL, please!).

Those are ten kinds of win!
Wow... I wish they had baby sizes, I'd totally hook my kid up.

Posted 01/08/2009 at 12:12:27 PMMan, I wish I'd made those T-shirts back when I first had the idea. I even designed them and everything! All that Photoshop work for nothing. Oh, well -- better that they benefit a good cause. Even if that cause is an online He-Man database.
Posted 01/08/2009 at 12:13:37 PMI have painful memories of those days...took me damn near three years to polish that armor, and some douche canoe riding a giant tiger cleaves my chest with an axe.
Posted 01/08/2009 at 12:20:02 PMI have fond memories of those figures because I had the skeletor and my cousin had the matching He-Man. Together we were awesome.
