• There's no way around it, you cannot physically go through time being stationary. That would mean your traveling at near infinite speed, while not moving. I think its more likely to just say that between 88mph and the point at which it reaches its destination back in that, that for the breifest of instances, over the shortest of distance, it has reached the terminal velocity of physics.

• To be fair, Doc and Marty could have started the race at any time, and anywhere, just so long as they hit 88mph at the finish line and had the temporal coordinates set for a split second before Samus and Sonic cross. Er... I mean, it's a funny little animation and we shouldn't overthink it. :P

He then gets super horny and then starts to rape the closestthing he can find, which happens to be Tails. And a Gardevoir gets shoved in there. I'm not sure how yet, but I WILL FIND A WAY. Any ordinary person would not respond to Mr.Bricken's challenge, BUT I AM NO ORDINARY MAN!

• an object moving through time is not anchored in space by a gravitational constant, as it is removing itself from the space time contiuum in order to reach a destination in a different time. It therefore must have a means of relocation or movement, otherwise it would likely end up in empty space or inside another object to to universal movement and expansion

• Actually the earth is moving under foot and the galaxy through the uniververse and possibly that is moving as well, but that doesn't matter when traversing the 4th dimension because it's a property of the universe and now I'm on some tanget. Just remember: Time is relative to speed, the faster you go, the slower it gets so to go backwards in time you have to go really really fast.

• Yes, but it while it must reach a very high velocity to time travel, it does not move WHILE time traveling. It comes out of the exact spot from where it disappeared.

• The DeLorean has to be going 88 miles an hour. Not exactly stationary.

• I've only seen the first movie, but I'm pretty sure that in the BTTF series the DeLorean remains stationary while time traveling. I haven't taken phsyics yet, so I don't know THAT much about the Theory of Relativity. I'm sure you're probably right in regards to the whole Space=Time thing. ______ But isn't the whole point of a race to see who can make through the track the fastest? Mcfly and Brown cheated because they arrived before everyone else and either waited or teleported to the end.

• Time = Space They are the same thing. The Delorean goes so fast it ends up rewinding time, therefore by the theory of relativity it's a perfectly legal move in a race. The iffy part for me would be using a car in the race, but hey, Doctor Egghead was using a space ship thing.

• Sonic and Samus tied, Doc Brown and Marty cheated. ________ First of all, they started the race waaaaaay before any of the other contestants did. Not to mention that they started at the FREAKING finish line, the DeLorean travels through time, not space. ________ As for the Tails rapage, I much prefer Pokemon any day. Sonic FF is for tweens and newbs.
