Judge Me By My Giant, Floating Kettle, Do You?

I guess we can add Yoda to the list of American celebrities who have made inexplicable Japanese commercials. In this, Yoda shills Cup Noodle ramen, by... well, making a giant boiling kettle of water float and while uttering some vague, bullshitty Jedi platitudes I don't know why Yoda appears to be somewhat younger and shinier-eyed than he does in the prequels, either, but it certainly adds to the creepiness. If the Jedi master is going to pimp instant ramen, he should follow his bliss and make commercials for tequila. "For shack that ass time, Patron time, make it." (Via Geekologie)

Yoda could sell anything with his ass-backwards way of talking. I called AT&T Customer Service the other day and Yoda was the operator and I didn't plan on getting any new features but when he said, "Texts unlimited you must have. Make communication easier they will with family." I couldn't help but make the purchase. Thinking back on it I could have been persuaded by the Jedi mind trick. :-/

Why is he boiling water in a desert?Well as I think of it sometime the soup in ramen noodles can look like water infiltrated by tannic acid,so having him on Dagobah may have put somebody off their meal.

To be fair, it's not like Yoda's ever stuck in a desert. In Star Wars, you can travel thousands of light-years in seconds, so you're only in a desert if you or your uncle wants you to be there.
