Woo! Third season of Sailor moon was awesome. Especially the dub... I loved how they made the Neptune and Uranus "cousins" but left in some hand fondling.... The fifth Season is pretty awesome too. With the boyband that turns into girls in hot pants with bikini tops. One of them has a special attack "Star Gentle Uterus!" I'm not making this up.
No, I mean that I hope the Moonies will never get the Starlights. Anti-Sailor Moon forever.
I hope that we finish the series to the very end. I would be very happy if this doesn't just adapt the first series. I hope that we get all of them! :D
We will if it follows the manga. The controversy over the Starlights was created only because the anime made them male when they weren't transformed. In the manga, they were all female, all the time. I believe they changed it so that it would be more likely that Usagi would be tempted to cheat on Mamoru with Seiya if he was male, since Usagi is very heterosexual. Audiences wouldn't think for a moment that Usagi would decide to bat for the other team just because a beautiful female superstar walked by, but they would be on the edges of their seat as to whether Usagi would get together with the beautiful male superstar. The genderswapping made for more drama but destroyed all potential of an official English release in the United States.

All I know is that when I tell my girlfriend about this story she'll probably just aimlessly throw money at the computer and she won't be the only one.
In all fairness, I thought Jadeite had command of some of the most unsettling, creepy, and sometimes downright scary monsters in the whole series, in both their human and youma forms. After that, the monster-of-the-episode designs seemed to gradually become less demonic and more stylized/cutesy/sexy, though there were still exceptions (none of which include the Lemures from SuperS). And I think the appearance of Nephrite really set the ball rolling for interaction among the villains. The infighting, backstabbing, and murdering of the Black Moon Clan and the Witches 5, for example, and the entirety of Ail and An (I hope they at least retain the Makaiju arc - I loved it). I think Kaorinite and Iron Mouse could've maybe interacted more with their fellow baddies, though.
Nah, the third removed episode actually was the episode where Shingo met Luna, and we learned he has a fear of cats, plus there's a youma selling energy-draining, creepy-ass rabbit/Maltese hybrids. Sailor Venus flashback was the fifth episode removed (the fourth being an episode unrelated to the Dark Kingdom arc - the girls visit a haunted beachside manor or something, and I think there's an exorcism in there somewhere).
Sadly, Little girls and Japanese men are not mutually exclusive anymore. And with that statement another piece of me dies at the hands of this website.
Zoisite and Kunzite. Yes, IIRC Takeuchi stated that in the manga Kunzite sees Zoisite somewhat like a younger brother. They weren't lovers. Which is unfortunate, because I liked those two as a couple. Some pretty good interaction between them. And Zoisite's death scene was surprisingly quite moving.
Oh, it was pretty cool. On the whole, the series got REALLY good once Nephrite, Zoisite and Kunzite started showing up. The episodes with Jadeite weren't that interesting to me (because he was just a guy...no one to interact with), but after that I was hooked! All the interaction between the three remaining generals made the Dark Kingdom as a whole a very interesting adversary.
being wrong is fine, I'm ok in the fact that I am often wrong, I'm not trolling, I'm sick of the fad and maybe it's all in good fun to be a Brony. It might be that I'm cranky today. It might be that just because I hate trend or fad or whatever, doesn't mean I should just go around and spew my negativity ...now this whole tread seems verily out of place :P
