Not everybody has the wherewithal to wade and potentially suffer through every new anime show in the hopes that they’ll find something they’ll like. Here are eleven of this fall season’s new anime series, ranked and judged by my own completely arbitrary criteria!
With the dog days of summer rapidly dwindling, I, as one of TR’s resident anime-watchers, figured it was time to catch up on some of this season’s current crop of anime shows currently available for streaming on various websites.
“Why don’t they just finally remake Final Fantasy VII? They’ll make millions!” Except, for reasons that I will soon disclose, that is actually a terrible idea.

To my surprise, this is a terrific show, and in honor of the show’s season finale tonight, I’m going to run down why I think this show is *finally* a successful follow-up to Face Off.
