Ah, street hockey. I may have never been a big sports person, but street hockey was always fun growing up.

It was popular on our cul-de-sac - then some jerk called the cops, despite the fact that the street was quiet and everyone was good about getting off the road when cars came in to park in their driveways or leave the block. If flawed childhood memory serves, the guy who actually lodged the complaint didn't actually physically live on the block either, but across from it.

Mind, that didn't actually really stop anything - I think the games just moved further into the dead-end end of the block instead.

I assume the Referee was going for the James Gordon look.  

This is the Game that Hockey deservesbut not the one it needs right now.

As the resident Canadian here...i approve of this post!
