@Shemp I think that's just badly brushed hair. Though considering the Iron Patriot poster, they could have just photoshopped it on him.

@LYT @Shemp Poster artists must be specifically instructed to mangle the human body in a semi-obvious way so as to catch the attention of passers-by. I remember when one of the easier ways to tell if a movie was crap was when they couldn't hire an artist to draw up their poster and resorted to using photographs.
On an unrelated note, Mr. Pearce here looks like a Bruce Willis/Kevin Costner mashup. He's definitely got the Willis-head-tilt-in-3/4-view thing down pat.
