DVD Day: March 15th, 2011
?? Batman: The Brave and the Bold: Season One, Part 2
Slim pickings this week, but I’m never got to not tell you when a new B&tB DVD set comes out.
? Gamera Vs. Zigra/Gamera Vs. the Super-Monster
A cheap-o two movies on one disc set. Note: The MST3K version of Gamera Vs. Zigra should be coming out before too long.
? Sharktopus
Eric Roberts in one of his finest… er… most nuanced… er… many roles. I bet that Sharktopus would make for some amazing sushi, though.
? Battle of Los Angeles
The crappy new rip-off movie from Asylum that they hope you’ll confuse with the reportedly-not-that-much-better Battle: Los Angeles.
? BMX Bandits
On Blu-ray. Why? Because god does not care about us, that’s why.
? Babylon 5: The Movie Collection
Same thing as the earlier boxed set, no new extras or anything. Just FYI.
? Barbie: A Fairy Secret
Oh, Ken. I know you thought it was a secret, but really, we all love you for who you are!

About The Author
Robert Bricken is one of the original co-founders of the site formerly known as Topless Robot, and its first editor-in-chief, serving from 2008-12. He brought the site to prominence with “nerd news, humor and self-loathing” as its motto, raising it from total internet obscurity to a readership in the millions, with help from his savage “FAQ” movie reviews and Fan Fiction Fridays. Under his tenure Topless Robot was covered by Gawker, Wired, Defamer, New York magazine, ABC News, and others, and his articles have been praised by Roger Ebert, Avengers actor Clark Gregg, comedian and The Daily Show correspondent John Hodgman, the stars of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Rifftrax, and others. He is currently the managing editor of io9.com. Despite decades as both an amateur and professional nerd, he continues to be completely unprepared for either the zombie apocalypse or the robot uprising.
