Toys of the Week: Futurama’s Bender and Kif Kroker
Full disclosure?while these two action figures which makes up Toynami’s third wave of Futurama toys are great, I think I’m probably making them the toys of the week mostly because of Toynami’s series 2 of Futurama toys, which included Leela, Zapp Brannigan and the greatest toy accessory ever made, the disembodied head of Richard Nixon in a jar. Likewise, I love Futurama, and will pretty much buy anything with the word “Futurama” print on it.
That said, these figures are as stellar as the others in the line; Bender comes with a variety of beer cans and booze bottles )including Old Fortran!) while Kif has his ridiculous cowboy hat. Also, this set will let you complete the Robot Devil build-a-figure, which is totally awesome (unless you don’t have Series 1 and 2). Either way, you should buy ’em here, in hopes that the line becomes successful enough that Toynami makes the Professor, Amy and Hermes.
