Toy of the Week: 12-Inch Jareth from Labyrinth
Dancing, singing, taunting Jennifer Connelly, throwing babies around?David bowie was at his finest in Labyrinth. NECA knows it; they’ve released two 7-inch Jareth action figures already, but this 12-inch Goblin King is truly worth doing a dance (magic dance) over. Besides being incredibly well-sculpted, with special attention paid to his crotch (just like in the movie), this figure has an alternate crystal ball-holding hand and says seven lines from the movie:
? “Go back to your room. Play with your toys and your costumes.”
? “I’ve brought you a gift; it’s a crystal, nothing more. But if you turn it this way and look into it, it’ll show you your dreams.”
? “But this is not a gift for an ordinary girl.”
? “Do you want it?”
? “Don’t defy me.”
? “You have 13 hours in which to solve the Labyrinth.”
? “It’s further than you think. Time is short.”
