When Hasbro first introduced G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero in 1984, they also had to introduce G.I. Joe’s first real nemesis, Cobra. Now, despite the fact that most folks are scared of snakes and thus might tend to think any organization calling itself Cobra might well be evil, Hasbro decided to play it safe by labeling its bad guys figures with the above logo. Granted, it’s not grammatically correct ?Cobra Enemy” being the the equivalent of “Joe Good,” or “Fire Burn”?but it certainly did its job. Now you can let folks know that you too are evil and not to be trusted with this shirt, available here from Stylin Online for a mere $25.
