Transformers 2 Scriptwriter Robert Orci Knows Nothing About the Transformers 2 Movie
Grr. I really hate it when movie people give interviews about their movies and say absolutely nothing of substance. So I really hate this 3000+ word interview between Transformers 2 scriptwriter Robert Orci and the nerds of uber-fansite Transformers World 2005. The ‘Former fans ask just about everything under the sun, but Orci replies invariably with a smirking “no comment” or a smug “maybe.” The whole damn thing is meaningless, except for one Q&A I thought worth sharing:
Q: Can we look forward to no stupid pissing scenes this time around?
A: No promises
There’s something so horrifically awful about someone not being able to promise that a character won’t get pissed on during a major summer movie that I’m sort of laughing and crying simultaneously. Hopefully, John Turturro gets double his check for his second golden shower?or at least a raincoat.
