The Wheel of Time Keeps on Rollin’, This Time to Videogames
Last time fantasy author/misogynist/honey-glazed ham of a man Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series graced the Topless Newsfeed, it was because Universal optioned his books for a movie. Apparently, film studio Red Eagle Entertainment has an arc of the wheel (little geometry joke there), because they have also announced they are part of the Wheel movies, and more importantly, will be making Wheel of Time videogames.
I’ve never heard of Red Eagle, so I’m hoping this is one of the countless announcements by companies that inevitably have no idea what they’re doing, and both company and product is never seen or heard from again. Just in case it’s not, Red Eagle wants to make a game for each book (meaning you’ll be able to skip the sixth game, Lord of Chaos, as nothing happens in it) and an MMO as well. I certainly hope the game is authentic to Jordan’s unique visions, and women are allowed to be both Bitches or Sluts. Or, like the female characters of his novels, they could switch inexplicably between these two classes each game.
