Anime Trifecta: Dragonball Movie, Anime Vice, Hello Kitty

? Rumor has it Fox is renaming the live-action Dragonball movie to Dragonball Evolution, indicated by the fact that dragonballevolutionmovie.com goes to Fox. Obviously, this will fix all of the movie’s problems. (Via Cinema Blend)

? I’m not sure how many of my “fans” from Anime Insider magazine or the doomed animeOnline.com read Topless Robot on a regular basis, but to all of you with any interest in anime–go turn your webcranks to Anime Vice. It’s the new anime news site and community run by my former news editor Gia, who I believe might be the world’s most shocking professional insane anime fangirl. It’s already got a ton of good stuff, and unlike animeOnline, seems to be running on software that cost more than $500 (cough), which is to say it works.

? Admittedly Hello Kitty isn’t strictly anime as much as a terrifyingly popular mascot from Japan, but 1) I needed something to fill out the trifecta, and 2) this really freaks me the fuck out. I didn’t  complain when they made Hello Kitty computers, cars, vibrators, and dog muzzles. But a Hello Kitty maternity hospital? That’s fucked up. (Via Kitty Hell)
