BSG Prequel to Show How Everything Got So Sh*tty
If you weren’t aware, the Sci-Fi Channel greenlit the Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica as a full series in a feat of not being idiots. Seriously, BSG is their biggest, most acclaimed show, and it’s just about over; how long did they have to think about okaying a prequel series? While I’m always happy when Eric Stoltz gets work–he just seems like he deserves it, I don’t know–I wonder if Caprica will be as popular as BSG. BSG has always been ludicrously bleak and depressing, but there was always a small glimmer of hope. In Caprica, everyone knows how fucked things are going to get. Might be a little…depressing.
