Claire Bear Really Does Think She’s Indestructible

I missed this delightful tidbit from a few days ago — I was probably still unconscious after drinking that bottle of scotch celebrating the news that Heroes had been renewed for a fourth season — that Hayden Panettiere is acting like a horrible bitch on the Heroes set. As you may know, Panettiere recently broke up with Milo Ventimiglia, who plays her on-screen uncle Peter Petrelli and in real life is 12+ years older than the 19-year-old actress. As a consummate professional, Panetierre has decided to try and get her co-star fired. From OK! Magazine:

Heroes‘ Hayden Panettiere has decided to take her bitter breakup with co-star Milo Ventimiglia to the small screen. Hayden, 19, is trying to get Milo, 31, kicked off of the show, according to a mutual friend.

“She refuses to be on the set at the same time as him,” the pal tells OK!. “She is making it difficult for everyone involved.” (Her rep denies this).

As for Milo, “He’s not going to play any games or stoop to her level,” says the friend.

In all honesty, Claire is probably more the face of Heroes as Peter is nowadays (since Hiro has turned into corn-throwing, babysitting comic relief instead of a character) so Panettiere might get her way. On the other hand, no one likes to work with divas, and her character is probably the worst part about Heroes currently (since Niki/Jessica/Whoever has been locked up and not wasting valuable screen time). I say we compromise, and shut down the whole show and move on with our lives. Who’s with me? (Via WWTDD)
