How Soundwave Got His Groove Back
It was simple enough — someone hired Frank Welker. Yes, UGO is reporting that Frank Welker, the voice of Soundwave in the original Transformers cartoon, will voice Soundwave in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which is officially the first good news about the live-action film franchise since… well, since it was announced that Peter Cullen would be voicing Optimus Prime. I guess this isn’t the biggest announcement — hell, we don’t even know how many lines Soundwave will have — but I feel like every time something positive happens regarding Transformers 2, it’s newsworthy.
