Neon Genishoe Evangelion
Japan’s industry is only kept afloat by two things: perversion-based entertainment and Evangelion merchandise. Normally, the two are combined to make statues of Rei and Asuka in various states of undress. But TR reader Jacob has spotted these shockingly non-illicit shoes patterned after Unit-01. They’ll be offered for sale on August 12th and be limited edition, but my favorite part is that they’re called the “Footstep Instrumentality Project,” implying that by putting them on, you take humanity’s next evolutionary step and join the group-mind of emotionally crippled teenaged giant robot pilots.
