I’m late on reporting this trailer for the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen game — so late that I almost considered not running it at all. and then I gave it a watch and I’ll be damned if that’s not Soundwave making a brief voiceover in the middle of the commercial (there’s an Autobot half and a Decepticon half, and it’s reasonably clever). Is this what Soundwave will sound like in the movie? Did Activision not know which way Bay was going to go, had to make a decision of their own, and decided to make Soundwave sound as classic as possible? I’m not sure, but if Soundwave genuinely talk like that in the flick, I will be pleased.
Oh, the game is pretty much Virtual On with the Bayformers, which seems fine. If the stages are large enough, there’ll actually be a reason to use the vehicle modes occasionally, which would be nice. Thanks to everyone who sent in the tip.
