The Only Fantasy Football I Care About

I love football, but I can’t get into fantasy football. There’s too much work involved for too little reward — whoever picks that one random player that has the crazy-good season wins, no matter how much scheming and trading and strategizing you do.

Meanwhile, Blood Bowl has elves, trolls, dwarves, and goblins, and some of them have chainsaws. This is fantasy football I can get behind — and the fact that it can be played as a real-time sports game or an old-school turn-based strategy game is phenomenal. Besides, teaching an troll linebacker to rip an elf wide receiver into five separate pieces sounds a lot more fun than trying to decide if Jay Cutler is going to get decent again or piss it down his pants the entire season.
