G.I. Joe: The Rise of New Card Art

?The Terrordrome found what seems to be the new card art for the “new” G.I. Joe toys coming out next year — er. this year, I suppose. While not earth-shattering, I do think it’s a swell modernization of the classic ’80s card art with a badass picture of the character on the left, but taking some of the darker design elements from the movie toyline. From all we’ve seen of the new toys and vehicles, Hasbro really has their Joe shit together, making a line that might earn its own 25th anniversary re-release in 2035 or so. Which, as a 30-something nerd, is pretty much the most terrifying thing I’ve ever typed.
