?Looks like Japan is finally getting around to making a CG film worth a damn. Specifically, Toei’s going to make a CG Captain Harlock movie — oh, and a Gaiking film too, but I’m not as excited about that. Frankly, I have no idea what CG would actually add to a Harlock story, and I’m betting it’ll end up as slow-paced and full of melodrama as all of Leiji Matsumoto’s works, but still: spaceship whose front portion is a just a giant skull.
