Yep, it’s another new trailer for Syfy’s Phantom reboot. It’s so obviously the standard superhero origin story + the 1996 Phantom movie (complete with evil/crazy CEO) + everything they could steal from The Dark Knight that didn’t have bat-ears on it that it makes me angry even just to have to move my fingers to type about it. It’s a shame they didn’t use the original movie’s “Slam Evil” tagline, though; I think it could have been easily adapted to suit this reboot pretty handily. See?
