Red Dead Ridiculousness
DVD Day’s coming up next, but it’s probably worth mentioning that Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption game also comes out today, a.k.a. Grand Theft Auto of the Oooolllllddd West. The pre-manufactured scandal appears to be that your character can tie a nun to railroad tracks and watch her get run over; as soon as mass media gets a hold of this they’ll go batshit insane and say the game forces players to murder nuns to win the game without ever examining further, and Rockstar will denounce it all, despite the fact that they knew this exact thing would/could happen. Frankly, I’m more interested in having the character drunkenly try to pick up whores and get so wasted he passes out in the middle of conversations, as in the above video. Reminds me of my college days.
