Super Terrific Japanese Thing: Zombie Jerky

zombie_meat_1.jpg

?I’m pretty much speechless (although that’s partially rage at the way my day is going), so let me let Pink Tentacle do the heavy lifting:

“Zombie Meat,” an exquisite new Japanese snack for the horror
enthusiast, consists of bite-sized chunks of tender blue flesh that,
according to the package, has been aged to deadly perfection at the
graveyard.

The ghastly meat snack, which tastes remarkably like peppered beef
jerky, can be found at select shops in Japan for 399 yen (about $4.50)
per pack.

I don’t know that I’d ever eat blue jerky anything, but when it’s called zombie jerky? Thanks, I’ll pass. But if they decide to repackage it as Smurf Jerky, someone give me a call. That shit sounds delicious.
