?? Flash Gordon
AAA-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, HE’S FINALLY ON A BLU-RAY DISC

? Sanctuary: The Complete Second Season
Help me out here, fellow nerds — Sanctuary or Primeval. What’s the difference between the shows? Which is better, and why?

? The Book of Eli
There’s a post-apocalypse involved, so I figure it’s scifi enough for some of you.

? Family Guy Vol. 8
I haven’t watched an episode of Family Guy since 2006 or so, and I’m totally okay with that. Some volume of American Dad also comes out today, but I’ll be damned if I waste 12 seconds of my life listing it on DVD Day.

? Darkman
One of Sam Raimi’s finest on Blu-ray.

? Supernatural: The Complete First Season
On Blu-ray. When I did my article on the Supernatural anime, a lot of you fangirls took me to task for saying how excited you’d be about the bishonen versions of the Winchester bros., that you also loved the show’s setting, overarching plot, storytelling, etc. I understand that, and I apologize if you thought I was inferring you only watched Supernatural for the pretty boys. My point is that you also watch Supernatural for the pretty boys, and that you fangirls are drooling over Padalecki and Ackles even as you’re enjoying whatever complex storytelling is going on. My point is this — here’s the Blu-ray of the first season, so I’d recommend buying some Windex because I’m pretty sure you’ll be licking your TV screen when HD Sam and Dean pop up.

? Johnny Bravo: Season One
There’s gotta be a couple of you excited by this, right? Maybe?

? Communion
Aliens come to earth, abduct Christopher Walken, and get seriously freaked out. I assume, I haven’t seen it. But seriously, you can’t tell me that aliens wouldn’t be more scared of Christopher Walken than he would be of them.

? Control Alt Delete
A 2008 sitcom starring Tyler Labine as some kind of computer nerd that I have absolutely no memory of existing.

? Sleazy Sci-Fi of the 1970s
Three movies, including 2069: A Sex Odyssey, Invasion of the Bee Girls and Dr. Dildo’s Secret, for only $18. I can’t vouch for the latter two, but I have very fond memories of watching 2069 on Skinemax at 3am at the age of 13 or so. Just sayin’.
