These were created by Blake Blevin, who is apparently some kind of mad wizard engineering genius. If you have the time, patience and tech-savvy, you can learn how to construct your own pair here. As you can probably tell, these aren’t the most practical of shoes. But some inconvenience is a small price to pay to have 2015 technology today, right? (Via I09) While we’re on the subject of Back to the Future, it’s worth noting that despite what you may have heard you definitely won’t be seeing Marty and Doc time travelling today.
