A Jillion More People Cast in X-Men: First Class

?It’s a problem that educators have been facing for years — overcrowding in schools. Alas, Professor X’s School for Gifted Youngsters and Short, Violent Men with Bad Attitudes is no exception; the new X-Men movie First Class has just cast a ton more roles, to the point that I have no idea how the hell they’re all going to get screen time and not suck. Here’s the full list, including the most recent enrollments:

? January Jones as Emma Frost (apparently Alice Eve only thought she had the role — get it? get it? Emma Frost, Telepath? Oh, shut up)
? Zoe Kravitz as Angel (but more likely Storm; I think there’s some confusion there)
? Jason Flemyng as Azazel
? Michael Fassbender as Magneto
? James McAvoy as Professor X
? Nicholas Hoult as Beast
? Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique
? Caleb Landry Jones as Banshee
? Lucas Till as Havoc
? Edi Gathegi as Darwin (???)
? Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert
? Kevin Bacon as the villain, probably Mr. Sinister
? Oliver Platt as the “Man in Black”

Jesus. First of all, I think Alice Eve is sexier than January Jones, at least in an Emma Frost-ish way. Second of all, we know at least Cyclops still has yet to be cast; goodness knows how many others. Third of all, “Oliver Platt as ‘The Man in Black'”? Goddamnit. Unless he’s playing Johnny Cash, there’s no way this will end well. (Via Deadline and First Showing)
