Geek Apparel of the Week: Booster Gold Fan Club and MODOK Baby Carrier
Today’s shirts are so unstylish they’re awful. I mean, you can’t wear this Booster Gold shirt and not look like a huge dork to everyone. There’s no subtlety to it. And the “fan club” aspect makes it a little worse, because non-nerds won’t think it’s clever allusion to Booster Gold’s fame-seeking ways, but that you really are in a real fan club for some comic character. It’s $18 here.
And yet this shirt is even worse. Because it’s MODOK, because it’s really ugly, and because it’s also a parody of The Hangover shirts, which have already been dated for the last 8 months or so. It’s $24 here. So why am I running these two shirts? Because if you wear either of them, you are a NERD WITH BALLS, and I admire your don’t-give-a-a-shittedness.
