Tim Burton Announces Least Surprising News Ever
See if you can follow me here: Tim Burton is officially going to direct a movie version of the classic vampire soap opera Dark Shadows, to begin filming in April. It will star Johnny Depp as Barnabas the vampire. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that Helena Bonham Carter might get a role as well, but don’t quote me on that. Might Danny Elfman do the score? Who can possibly tell? Normally, I’d run a pic of the original Dark Shadows show with this article, but I believe the above video sums up this announcement far more accurately.
