I’m not that surprised that they’re coming out, frankly, but I am shocked that one of the first two is Kor, one of the Klingon bad guys from the original series. That’s like if the first two Star Wars Potato Heads were Luke Skywalker and, I don’t know, Dr. Evazan or something. It’s also worth noting that the Kirk is kind of terrible, but the classic Klingon is shockingly good. This two-pack will be available in August; now, this isn’t made by Hasbro, so goodness knows where it’ll be
available — it’s from PPW Toys, that weird little company that makes
weird Mr. Potato Heads like for specific sports teams and KISS and shit. You’ll almost certainly have to order ’em online. If it sells well, Mr. Spock and Uhura Potato Heads are planned down the line. Plan accordingly. (Via Blastr)
