Don’t Panic (Okay, Maybe Panic, I’m Not Sure)

?Hothead Studios is making a new Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy game. If you recognize the name Hothead, it’s probably because they made the episodic Penny Arcade games, as well as Deathspank. Now, I never played any of these things, but I heard Deathspank was funnier than it was enjoyable to play, and I know that only two of the four Penny Arcade episodes came out, which doesn’t seem a good sign. On the other hand, if someone was going to make a Hitchhiker’s game, I’d probably want it to be an adventure/puzzle game a la Monkey Island — seems like that would be the best way to get the series’ humor across, don’t you? — which is what the PA games were, so at least Hothead has experience. There are zero details about the game (although there is an official website, from which I took the above image), but I’m cautiously optimistic, but I am hoping you guys who downloaded PA or Deathspank can elucidate things in the comments, especially on how well they do humor.
