The X-Men in “Days of Insurance Needs Past”
I don’t have the faintest idea why Farmers Insurance has decided to do a tie-in with X-Men: First Class. And, the awesome J.K. Simmons notwithstanding, this commercial where wanna-be insurance agents tease Beast about his lack of insurance knowledge isn’t that funny, either. I’m only running it for two reasons: 1) for posterity, because holy shit an insurance company decided to mnake a commercial with a Marvel mutant in it, and 2) because Professor X is actually a huge enough asshole that he probably would send Beast to Farmers Insurance Agent School for a week. Just for shits and giggles. “No, Beast, this is very important. In order to live with the humans peacefully, we must understand how they financially cover themselves in times of crisis. *snicker*” (Via The Mary Sue)
