The Wolverine Sequel Hires Some Dude to Direct It

?Specifically, Fox has asked somebody named James Mangold to direct what is still being called The Wolverine, and everyone assumes he’s going to take it. Apparently Mangold directed Walk the Line, which I didn’t see, the 3:10 to Yuma remake, which I did see and enjoyed, and Knight and Day, the Tom Cruise/Cameron Diaz spy-couple movie that looked just fucking horrible and I wouldn’t see if my life depended on it. So basically what I’m saying is that I have no strong feelings about Mangold directing. My hope is that he’ll still use the same script that Darren Aronofsky had approved when he was going to direct, because I assume that script was not terrible. Now that X-Men: First Class has returned the non-shitty X-Men movie streak to “one” I’d like to see if we can get it back to “two.” (Via /Film)
