?With everyone completely losing their shit in anticipation for The Dark Knight Rises, it’s understandable that crazy rumors about the flick will be all over the Internet. Keeping that in mind, after the jump you’ll find a potential spoiler that is genuinely fantastic if true. Ready? Here goes…
Blastr is reporting that Adam West will have a cameo in The Dark Knight Rises. Their source is this tweet from Floss Magazine, so take this bit of information with several million grains of salt. If this story proves to be accurate, it will be the realization of a decades-old dream by West to appear in one of the big screen Batfilms. (Back in 1989, West regularly trotted out schtick about how he should appear as “Uncle Batman” in Tim Burton’s flick). Wonderful.

Even if this proves to be as fakedty fake fake fake as the teaser poster at the beginning of the post, you’ve got to admire how, uh, batshit crazy these Dark Knight Rises rumors are getting. That said, don’t be too surprised if Christian Bale suddenly has an Uncle Batman come next summer.
