I know a lot of you guys are excited by the news, and that’s cool. But I had a thought: Remember how hated the Clone Saga used to be? I mean, people loathed it, but nowadays it has its fans, partially because of nostalgia, partially for kitsch value, and probably because it was better than we remember (there were bits that were fucked, but there was some good stuff in there, too). Which got me thinking: Are we approaching a day when nerds will be nostalgic for Spider-Man: The Other or One More Day? Will there be kids who will eagerly await the return of vampire-face-eating Spidey, or maybe an appearance by Mephisto to see how Peter’s non-existent marriage isn’t doing? Yikes. (Via Newsarama)
