It’s a Batman: Year One Clip Where Batman Doesn’t Wet His Pants
If you’ll recall, the first clip from DC’s upcoming Batman: Year One animated DVD movie was of the iconic scene where Batman threatens the heads of Gotham’s crime syndicates, a powerful moment forever ruined by Kevin Smith who decided that Batman really should have been pissing himself, and retconned the scene in one of his comics. I’d love to just ignore Smith’s horribleness, but I can no longer think about Year One without thinking of Batman filling his britches, and I doubt I’ll ever be able to. So it’s going to be kind of hard to enjoy this DVD when it comes out next week, but whatever.
Anyways, this scene doesn’t have Batman suffering from any involuntary bladder spasms… as far as I know of. If anyone sees Smith writing down anything, please strike any writing utensils or computers out of his hands. I don’t think we should risk it. (Via CBR)
