Superdickery: The Movie
Alas, this is not a movie of the popular website chronicling Superman’s exploits of douchebaggery, and no, this isn’t an update on Man of Steel. This is a trailer for Chronicle, a movie that explores the question of what would really happen if a bunch of normal –i.e., douchey — teens really got superpowers. The answer, of course, is that they’d be complete assholes and fuck with people constantly, and Chronicle seems to get that nicely. The movie is directed by Max Landis (son of John Landis) and is using the hand-camera shtick of Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield, which I might have been annoyed by except I recently saw The Troll Hunter, which used the same thing pretty well (I thought, at least), so I’m keeping my mind open.
