There’s a new trailer for the second CG anime Berserk movie — not the Egg one, but The Battle for Doldrey — coming out this summer in Japan. I admit, I haven’t read the manga or watched the original anime or seen the first movie, but I think it’s an improvement. This is almost certainly because this trailer has more people getting cut in half with swords, and I enjoy seeing people cut in half with swords, but whatever. I’m not a complicated man. Thanks to Tom M. for the tip and article title.

Under his tenure Topless Robot was covered by Gawker, Wired, Defamer, New York magazine, ABC News, and others, and his articles have been praised by Roger Ebert, Avengers actor Clark Gregg, comedian and The Daily Show correspondent John Hodgman, the stars of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Rifftrax, and others.
