To celebrate the third consecutive week of The Avengers dominating the box office, check out the above animatic from the film created by artist Jane Wu. It showcases the Hulk pummeling anyone who gets in his way–and Thor. Seriously, I could watch that cheap shot punch all day. (A Black Widow-centric one is featured here as well). Together these both give insight into the previsual process that resulted in the flick’s strong action sequences.Or maybe I’ve just been a sucker for animatics ever since I saw the speeder bike chase recreated with action figures in the old From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga documentary. Either way, moving storyboards equal fun. (Via io9).
