Let Sleeping Dogs Lie, Punch, Shoot and Take Thugs to the Terrifying Mrs. Chu
Remember the awesome Hong Kong action movie/sandbox game Sleeping Dogs from E3? Well, here’s a new 8-minute gameplay video which reminded me I need to buy the fuck out of this game the minute it’s available. It’s somewhere between GTA’s realism and Saints Row‘s sense of fun, but in a less crazy, more specifically martial arts/John Woo movie-type way, which is just as refreshing as Saints Row was to GTA back in the day. Really, this is probably the closest thing we’re going to get to a new Shenmue game, and one that doesn’t even force us to drive a forklift for six hours a day because our videogame character has a part-time job to buy capsule toys. I can live with that.
