The Dark Knight Rises, and Does a Lot of Other Things, Too
Finally, the MTV Movie Awards Dark Knight Rises preview has slunk onto the internets for us to enjoy without the pain and indignity of, you know, having to watch the MTV Movie Awards. Suffice it to say, this fucker is action-packed, which more than quells my fears based on the early trailers that DKR might be a more somber, thoughtful affair than an actual superhero movie. I don’t mind having some depth to my superhero movies, but if I had to pick between Batman punching criminals in the dick and musing about the nature of heroism and an individual’s responsibility to society, well, I’m taking the dick-punching (so to speak). By the way, “He’s behind you”? Fucking awesome. (Via /Film)
