Those Sleeping Dogs Are Waking Up Tomorrow
Square Enix’s Grand Theft John Woo sandbox game Sleeping Dogs comes out tomorrow, so I hope you’ll indulge me by letting me post one last video for the game (specifically, the launch trailer). The game looks like the best thing Square Enix has published since Just Cause 2, although admittedly that’s not the highest hurdle to clear. Indeed, my only qualm is with the song used in this trailer, by The Heavy, which feels more appropriate to some kind of Jazzercise session than gunning down Triads in Hong Kong. Also, the question — “What makes a good man?” — is a bit obvious, don;’t you think? Hey, music, did you see in the trailer when that dude stuck that other dude in a furnace? That does not make a good man, just for the record.
