The CW-iest Trailer for The CW’s Arrow Yet
I’ve been surprised as anyone to see that the promos and trailers for The CW’s Green Arrow show Arrow actually make it look pretty entertaining, with decent performances, solid action, and a surprising amount of characters from the comics. That is, except for this newest one, where Oliver Queen talks about what a “bad boy” he is and how you shouldn’t date him, you know, were he not a fictional character and everything. It’s absolutely horrible, although I remain committed to giving the show a try. You know, this promo could have easily served the same purpose if Ollie had only the delivered the dialogue: “I’m not what you would call a catch. I’m definitely not the guy you bring home to your mother. I promise I’ll never remember your birthday. Also, I shoot people in the face with fucking arrows.” (Via Comic Book Resources)
