Zombies Want to Eat Lara Croft’s Brainnnssss
In the continued absence of a Tomb Raider reboot, the only way fans can see Lara Croft in a live-action adventure is through fan videos. Fortunately, people like director Trevor Garner are on the case. In Tomb Raider: Book of the Dead, the video game heroine — and Eidos money maker — encounters a variety of shady characters. Better still, she also comes face-to-face with a group of zombies who were clearly modeled after the ones featured in the original Dawn of the Dead. It’s low-budget goofy fun that is the closest thing we’ll ever get to a Tomb Raider/Evil Dead crossover flick.
