As mentioned earlier today, Norman Reedus voices the Punisher in the Japanese-styled animated Iron Man movie Rise of Technovore. But talk about your sibling rivalry – Michael Rooker just scored himself a slot on the Guardians of the Galaxy as Yondu (it also seems to be a day of blue comic-book heroes).
Rooker’s casting shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who saw Slither – James Gunn likes to work with some of the same people, which of course begs the question of what role he’s going to put Nathan Fillion in. Assuming Fillion quits with the fake modesty about how he’s too old to be a superhero and stuff.
