It finally hit me why DC is better at TV than Marvel, but far worse at movies – DC is better at hiding what they really are. Hell, it’s even somewhat true in their films – the last three Superman and/or Batman films haven’t even had the words “Superman” or “Batman” in the title.
If I didn’t know what this was, I’d suspect a Body Snatchers rip-off – especially because of the way everyone is (ill-advisedly) staring straight into the camera. It was nice of Johnny Cage to lend them his warehouse location, because if you’re a fan of comic fealty, this is where you fall down.
