Kenichi Ebina, America’s Got Talent‘s One-Man Video Game

Like perhaps most of you, I don’t watch America’s Got Talent, even as I know that Howard Stern’s presence on there is supposed to draw me in somehow. Talent shows have never been my thing, because let’s be honest, most so-called talents are boring. Oh, you can sing and dance? Fabulous. Do it somewhere else.
But that attitude feels so misguided now that I’ve seen Kenichi Ebina choreograph his own video-game dance combat routine. Against mo-capped versions of himself, projected and timed perfectly.
Watch the video after the jump, and realize as I did that sometimes the stuff we find awesome shows up in what we may think are the least awesome places.
